Kunst und Tierrechte
Ich bin Künstlerin, Grafikerin und Tierrechts-Aktivistin aus Zürich. Mit meinen Bildern möchte ich zum einen informieren und zum anderen die Menschen zum Nachdenken anregen und ihr Herz berühren. Seit über drei Jahren begleite und dokumentiere ich an den Mahnwachen von Zurich Animal Save die angelieferten Tiere vor dem Schlachthof während ihrer letzten Lebensmomente. Durch meine Bilder kann ich diese Momente, die Liebe zu den Tieren und meine Hoffnung auf eine friedlichere Welt ausdrücken und den Tieren somit ein Gesicht und eine Stimme geben. Mit meinen Tierporträts möchte ich zeigen, wie einzigartig, individuell und wunderschön jedes einzelne Lebewesen ist. Kunst ist ein wichtiges Werkzeug um Gewohnheiten, Normen oder auch Traditionen in Frage zu stellen und neue Sichtweisen aufzeigen.

How beautiful would be a world in which every life is respected! Because all living beings are worth the same! And all want to live!

Boris lived the first 2-3 years without human contact in Spain on a car park in a cat colony. When the car park was cleared, the cats were sent to different shelters. As there were so many of them, animal shelters from abroad were also approached and that's how Boris came to Switzerland at that time.
The two of them are wonderful personalities whom I love so much and I wouldn't want to miss a single moment with them.
There are countless homeless animals who ALL deserve a loving home. So many of them have been waiting in shelters for years. Please give them the chance for a happy life!

Jaakko spent his first 3 years in St. Gallen on a farm where he was no longer wanted after a serious accident. Fortunately, he was found in time and could be operated on.
The two of them are wonderful personalities whom I love so much and I wouldn't want to miss a single moment with them.

Week after week we stand here and document the last moments of life of these wonderful creatures. They scream, they are afraid and they don't want to die. We do not let this terrible injustice remain hidden.

At the Animal Rights March Zurich, more than 2500 people took to the streets for animal rights.

Visit to the animal hospital. He was rescued from the dairy industry as a calf. Like all male dairy calves, he would have been killed when he was just a few weeks old.

We brought the pictures from our slaughterhouse vigils to Zurich's old town. Because even though the slaughterhouse is in the middle of the city of Zurich, the countless victims still remain hidden from most.

When I saw you this morning at 5 o'clock in the morning in front of the Zurich slaughterhouse, I already knew that you were going to die soon. I knew that you would be very scared and that you would have a long and painful death struggle ahead of you. It breaks my heart and I am so angry that I could not help you and that you were born into a world where a short palate is worth more than your life and so much pain was inflicted on you. I am infinitely sorry. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.

At our vigil today in front of the Zurich slaughterhouse, we had to watch numerous pigs being driven to their death. Fear, suffering, pain, despair - we could see all these feelings in their eyes and feel them on the spot. What do you feel when you look into their eyes? How can you not recognise a sentient being? How can we allow this to be done to them?

Pain, fear, suffering, despair - all these feelings can be seen in their eyes and felt on the spot. So many vans with animals have passed me by, but it is not the mass, but each individual creature that makes the difference. I will never forget them and I will tell their stories as loud as I can.
